For those wishing to revisit Ocarina of Time, imo the decomp PC port Ship Of Harkinian with OoT Reloaded texture pack + 3DS character models is the definitive way to experience the game. You have the option to use joystick camera + gyro, true wide screen and 120FPS, mwahhh

To play devil's advocate - I think it's actually good that an introductory book doesn't focus so hard on Amy's entire identity revolving around her obsession over Sonic.
That being said, I do think they've gone a too far here by erasing any mention of her crush at all.

So, the 35th anniversary version of the "Welcome to the World of Sonic" book was changed from the 2021 version to completely remove all of Amy's feelings for Sonic 😶.

People keep forgetting that by this point Sonic is completely sleep deprived and has been running for a while now, not to mention under a LOT of mental stress.
If he looks "wimpy" it's because he is at his weakest point...

my biggest issue with Sonic's doubt in IDW 23 is how the art conveys his emotions and less of the writing his expressions and body language paint his moments of doubt and pressure as him being wimpy and scared which is completely OOC for Sonic

I'm gonna be real fr, I read through all of the current SoC that's released and I do not understand why people are glazing it so much over IDW. It's some of the most boring and formulaic stuff I've seen. Are fans really that allergic to Sonic having a personality?

anytime i read the IDW Sonic comics it fascinates me that these writers just fundamentally misunderstand Sonic as a character and write him as a stereotypical sarcastic superhero despite there also being a Sonic manga currently running that nails his character perfectly

@Antony312dibujo The problem with that is that, in this very arc, Sonic acting that way has already endangered more people multiple times. The scenario is specifically written to challenge the way Sonic normally approaches situations.

Joking aside, personally I think the problem with why this scene is bad is that in a debate like this, Sonic is the character who already has the answer, but here it's written as any other protagonist of a zombie drama would write it
