After my nan passed, we had to empty her bungalow. I found a box of collections, lovingly put into an old tin. Very movie aesthetic. I kept that tin of stuff. Small things collected over a life, obvs kept for reasons.
In it was a poem that she had handwritten...

The picture on the left I was a homeless care leaver suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. It was also the last time I was ever arrested, drunken disorder. I was 20yrs old. I have worked incredibly hard over the years to build a life for myself. 20 years later. The picture to the right says it all. That's why I will never stop campaigning for a better care system. Children in care are still children. #changeiscoming #Thestateofit

We cannot believe our last session of Positivity PIE is coming up this week! At Leeds Coop Academy, a group of 15 Year 9 girls have been on our 6 week programme to develop confidence, resilience and ambition.
