Twitter is a terrible platform to have such a discussion, but - months ago, I went straight to NAVA (National Association of Voice Actors) about the use of voice synths in fanworks & discussed this with the president of the organisation personally. Free mods aren't the problem.

Very exciting developments in Mass Effect modding today. Thanks to help from a friend (who's not on Twitter) new banks of audio work perfectly as additions into existing conversations. No weird memory tricks or hacky workarounds, it works! It's clean, too! Very exciting!
