Same thing in Mass Effect 1 when you try to run on the Citadel. No change in speed, just in the FOV of the camera to give the illusion you’re moving faster. Can’t remember if that stayed true for 2 & 3 or if load times were better by then

Got a weird request. Does anyone know of an ultra wide monitor that is at least 120hz but also taller than 1440p? I know about the Samsung Odyssey line but the reviews seem kind of hit or miss…

@kalaelizabeth @N7TheLegend Source: I attempted to recreate the music mix using extracted tracks from the game files. There’s still 0:02 to 0:07 missing - need to find that still

@kalaelizabeth @N7TheLegend Specifically it plays Eden Prime, then 2 different unnamed tracks from MEA (haven’t figured out the first, but the second is the music that plays when you meet Peebee) and then a variant of Aralakh Company that plays during Priority: Horizon in ME3

@PaulTassi Lol, not exactly. Sure there are movies that appeal to smaller groups that are amazing but Marvel movies aren’t those. They are meant for the masses and financial performance is their measure. If they bomb but the hardcore go and score it highly, that doesn’t make it good.

@poetic_electric Yep, ME1’s opening crawl was directly inspired by Top Gun, but also other opening text crawls. It’s a very 70s:80s move to open your movie with exposition text. You see it in stuff like Terminator, Star Wars and Blade Runner as well.
