Human beings have the right to become whatever they choose.
They may call themselves wise, civilized, enlightened, democratic, revolutionary, spiritual, superior, or just. History is filled with individuals and nations crowning themselves with such titles.
But perhaps the one right humanity should never possess is the right to rewrite its own deeds after they have been done.
The greatest manipulations in history are not always committed through weapons, but through memory. Facts are edited. Motives are purified. Violence is renamed necessity. Oppression becomes civilization. Betrayal becomes diplomacy. And with time, the guilty often become historians of their own crimes.
I sometimes imagine a future technology capable of recording human actions with terrifying fidelity; not merely conversations or images, but the moral atmosphere surrounding actions themselves. A system that preserves events beyond propaganda, beyond selective memory, beyond political convenience. Not necessarily to punish, but to prevent reality from being murdered after the event itself has already occurred.
Even intimacy, secrecy, and private life (though deserving protection) would still leave traces, hints, and echoes. Because no action exists in isolation. Human conduct always spills into consequences.
Such a system would transform everything: interpersonal relationships, families, communities, religious institutions, governments, nations, and international politics.
Many of the heroes of history might collapse under transparent memory. Many villains may turn out more human than mythology allowed. Entire civilizations would lose the luxury of self-manufactured innocence.
Perhaps this is why human beings fear perfect remembrance.
Forgetting is not always mercy; sometimes it is strategy.
And maybe one of humanity’s deepest instincts is not merely the desire to survive, but the desire to control the narrative of survival.

The reason why most of the patriotic citizens that are defending this administration are doing so is to prevent the self-acclaimed messiahs and their cohorts from prevailing and desolating this country. I'd prefer watching them, but, the sky is about to fall is not a problem for just a few people.

I commend all our patriotic front-line soldiers in the fight against terrorism in all forms.
You stand as a shield between innocent citizens and those who seek to destroy the peace, safety, and dignity of our communities.
In the forests, on the roads, at forward operating bases, in the air, creeks, and across difficult terrains, you carry the burden of national protection so that millions of Nigerians can sleep, work, worship, farm, trade, and raise their children in hope.
This fight has not been easy. It has come with pain, pressure, and sacrifice. But your courage has remained firm. Your service is acknowledged. Your sacrifice is honoured. Your country does not take you for granted.
To every officer and soldier of our Armed Forces, to the Police, DSS, Civil Defence, intelligence services, local security formations, and all who work day and night to keep Nigeria safe, I say thank you.
I also acknowledge the families behind the uniform. Many of you have endured long absences, anxious nights, and the emotional cost of duty. Nigeria remembers that sacrifice, too.
We honour those who have paid the supreme price in defence of our country. Their names may not always trend, but their courage lives on in rescued communities, protected families, and the survival of the nation they served.
The fight against terror is not only a military operation. It is a national duty. Citizens must support our security forces by providing timely, useful information. When you see something, say something. When you know something, report it.
Nigeria will not surrender to fear. We will not allow terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, or violent extremists to define who we are as a people. Their violence is not our identity. Their hatred does not represent Nigerians of any faith, creed, or community.
To our troops and all front-line patriots, thank you for your courage. Thank you for your vigilance. Thank you for your service.
May the Almighty protect you as you protect our country.

Many cooked stories we must not pass to our children-
**Oduduwa didnt come from Mecca; He had a father & mother with family houses in Ife.
**'Okanbi' is a myth who never existed. Oduduwa had more than 7 children from more than one wife.
**Not everyone has blood ties to Oduduwa so, dont argue when some tribes say so. Ife is the unifier NOT Oduduwa who was only the most reverred Ooni.
**Awolowo didnt uplift the Ooni throne for politics. He met a 1937 gazette stating the Ooni as PERMANENT head of Yoruba Council of Obas ratified by ALL obas including Oba of Benin & Alaafin Ladigbolu. Check federal gazettes.
***Awoists will come for u if u ever repeat this lie! U go collect!
Most importantly, tear up any copy of Samuel Johnson's book u have. Hes a weapon for confusion who never did any research in Ife. 65% of the stories are Palmwine Parlor tales!
Save the next generation from confusion & beer Parlor history. 🙏

' For clarity, Olugbon was the son of Ooni Ogun & grandson (Not son) of Olofin Oduduwa. Oranmiyan was his younger brother from another mother. His mother, Yeyesuse was a Princess & daughter of Oro, Oba Iwara' - Traditional Historian for Ife, Olofin Itan.

Very simple. He should realise that lions and grey wolves will never come across each other in real life. He would then realise it's a dream and wake up.

Media Framing of Crime Along Ethnic Lines: Divisive.
As an Igbo man, I have endured stereotypes, judgment, and labelling solely based on my ethnic origins. This is not an isolated Igbo experience. Most Nigerians have, at some point, been reduced to their ethnicity rather than recognised for their true character.
I understand the pain of the ordinary Fulani man today, often unfairly judged by the actions of criminals he does not support, has never met, and who are not representative of his people.
Even in America, such unjust labelling fueled the civil rights movement and prompted Martin Luther King Jr. to declare that people should be judged by the content of their character, not the colour of their skin.
Every Nigerian ethnic group is known for its unique traditions, occupations, skills, and strengths. Crime, however, has no ethnicity. A thief is a thief. A terrorist is a terrorist. A kidnapper is a kidnapper. They are bad actors, not representatives of any people. They must be identified, arrested, and punished according to the law.
We must decisively abandon the dangerous practice of blaming entire ethnic groups for the actions of a few criminals. It is unjust, it breeds hatred, and it damages our national unity.
Let us proudly celebrate our diverse cultures, talents, and contributions, rather than falling prey to stereotypes and prejudices that politicians and divisive interests exploit for their gain.
A new Nigeria must emerge—one where no citizen is condemned because of tribe, religion, or birthplace. We can cherish our cultural roots while standing united by justice, mutual respect, and hope for a better future. We are capable of this.
A new Nigeria is within our reach. -PO

@ansem_edet Very important.
And that state police should not inherit the present police culture. They should be humane and emotionally intelligent.
