Jones Fire Update: 100+ acres & actively burning w/n the Hassayampa River bottom & along both sides of US 60. Ground resources, including engines, a dozer, & hand crew are working in tandem with large aircraft to slow the fire's rate of spread. The fire is burning along both sides of the river bottom & the highway, in salt cedar, cottonwood, grasses & brush. Four SEATs on order along with a Type 2 hand crew.
