The sun sets on a fantastic Cell Cycle meeting at Salk Institute. Inspiring talks and posters. Great feedback from a supportive community. Thanks to the organizers - see you all in 2025!
Our lab canoe trip to bid farewell to super postdoc Kristi Miller, who leaves for her new faculty position at Providence College. Bonus feature: her paper was accepted yesterday! Congratulations and good luck to a great lab member and scientist!
Fun new preprint from our lab! We studied how the nucleus provides a spatial signal by moving and removing nuclei, or giving cells extra nuclei. Combined experiments and modeling led by Hannah Opalko and awesome collaboration with @DVavylonis lab.

On the FRONT PAGE of our local newspaper: lab members Hannah and @rachelaberg making the most of recent snow day (and planning their next discoveries, no doubt...😉)!!
Check out our lab's latest work at #CellBio2022!
Saturday talk: 2:45pm in Building the Cell subgroup
Sunday poster: board B484
Monday posters: boards B229 and B231
Excited to share the preprint of our latest cell size paper! What aspect of "size" do cells measure, and how do they do it? Here's what we found (with kudos to postdoc Kristi Miller):
