Their “golden” modern run was 2002, where they made the quarterfinals, lost to Germany, and finished around 8th. Meanwhile Türkiye finished 3rd at that same World Cup. Also, last time the World Cup was hosted in the United States, in 1994, the US didn’t even reach the quarterfinals. They went out in the round of 16. So congrats to them for talking like giants while their biggest modern World Cup flex is a quarterfinal from 2002. 😂
