Once I started the process of cleaning house, it was inevitable that corruption would fight back. Through such a malicious campaign, a lifetime of sacrifice, dedication and investment to help develop our social fabric through sports can go up in smoke, just like that. Reputation ruined forever. I shall not allow it. In this regard, I shall be issuing a comprehensive response to these henious fabricated allegations and all other planned propaganda. We know all their plans.

A Historic Milestone for the Harambee Starlets! The Harambee Starlets made a powerful statement on the global stage at the FIFA Women’s Series tournament, delivering a standout performance that culminated in a thrilling final against Australia, one of the world’s top-ranked women’s teams. This achievement marks a key moment for women’s football in Kenya. The Starlets’ run reflects the tangible growth of the women’s game across the football ecosystem. To the players, You represented Kenya with courage, pride and determination. You have elevated the standard and proven, beyond doubt, that Kenya belongs on this stage. To the technical bench your leadership has been exceptional. You have the Federation’s full confidence and support as we continue to build. As a Federation, we remain committed to accelerating the development of women’s football through pushing for good facilities, increased competition in the women leagues, visibility and capacity building. #HarambeeStarlets

Together with the Sports DG Timothy Kilimo, FIFA representatives Kanizat Ibrahim from the FIFA Council, Deputy Chief Member Associations Officer and Director for Africa Gelson Fernández, the presidents of COSAFA member associations and some CECAFA presidents, we did an inspection tour of Talanta Stadium to assess its progress ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. The Talanta inspection forms part of AFCON preparations, with COSAFA supporting the region’s readiness. We subsequently launched the "Boots for All" initiative by FIFA, which forms part of its broader strategy to distribute free football boots to disadvantaged children globally in order to promote grassroots football.

I met with the FKF Women Premier League Clubs today, where we engaged in an in-depth discussion on the unique challenges affecting women's football. Together, we explored strategies to collectively overcome these hurdles and elevate women's football. As FKF, we will continue engaging with the clubs to foster a thriving environment for women's football to flourish. Women's football has immense potential for growth, we will take deliberate actions to find sustainable solutions through established structures, including the FKF Women's Desk and FKF Women's Committee, to propel women football forward.

If Charles Okere truly has evidence of match-fixing within Kenyan football, then the country deserves facts, names, and proof. Serious claims that damage the integrity of the game cannot be thrown around in press soundbites, especially coming immediately after a dismissal. Timing matters, and so does responsibility. If the allegations are genuine, they should have been raised through proper channels long before his ouster. It would have sent a very strong statement and encouraged coaches/players still in the game to follow in his footsteps in reporting such a vice. Kenyan football has suffered enough reputational harm. The sport cannot be held hostage by insinuations that create suspicion without accountability. Transparency means stepping forward with verifiable information or refraining from making statements that tarnish clubs, players, and officials collectively. FKF, the coaches' union, and relevant authorities should formally summon Okere for questioning so that: • Evidence can be presented • Investigations can be conducted professionally • The integrity of the game can be protected • Those guilty (if any) face consequences Kenyan football deserves truth — not whispers. Name names, present proof, and allow due process to take its course. @Pepeta @pepeta_ke

Earlier today, I visited Miramas, France, together with FKF Vice President McDonald Mariga and NEC members Kerubo Momanyi and Abdallah Yusuf, where we toured the city’s sports and training facilities as part of FKF’s long-term technical vision. We are engaging institutions that continue to set the standard in youth development, elite training environments and professional football structures. We also paid a courtesy visit to Frédéric Vigouroux, the Mayor of the City of Miramas. The objective is clear: to expose our national teams to the best systems in the world and lay the groundwork for meaningful technical cooperation for the future of Kenyan football.
