@NeilEvery @lamichaels1995 This isn’t what I’m talking about, at all. People with disabilities should be allowed to critique a non-disabled person who wants to write a book from their POV, and especially if the terminology used is harmful. That isn’t censorship. That’s input from a marginalized community.

I understand that authors can’t control their fans or who reads their books, but if any of my readers started publicly attacking a marginalized community, you can bet I would be speaking out.

@MetalBlonde I’ve noticed more and more lately that readers want to gate keep. While I do think I’ve been effected, it’s not on the level I’ve seen from other authors on social media. None of us should have to put a disclaimer that states *yes I identify as this, suffer from this, etc…*
