Arguably the most important skill is controlling your attention. This goes beyond merely avoiding distractions. The deeper skill is finding the highest and best use for your time, given what is important to you. More than anything else, controlling your attention is about being able to figure out what you should be working on and identifying what truly moves the needle.

The most frustrating thing at this point in my career is being able to recognize these +EV opps day to day but massively fumbling the executions on some of them for one reason or another. Today we had shorts on NIO and CART. The psychological gap is still real and its something I really need to work on closing but I think it’s the last thing standing between me and scalability. Execution is the priority right now and I will address it by: - Continuing to write up and review the best opps, thus increasing my confidence when I really see a great setup and giving me the conviction to hold through the uncertainty - Visualization: this has been one of the highest ROI exercises in my career. I may need to go back into a short period of 2-3h/day again for a couple weeks Admittedly I've been procrastinating on visualization because it just sucks to do. Writing up trades is way more fun for me. But, the one thing that will produce the highest ROI for me right now is visualization since my execution stinks. Over the next week or two, my plan is to cut down on the writeups and only review one if it’s a top opp. Otherwise, my time will go to visualization where I will do a minimum of 2 hours per day of focused/deep visualization and all other work hours will be filled with a less intense version of visualization. Will re-evaluate in 7 days to see whether I need to continue with 2h/day or whether I can drop it down to 30-60m and add in writeups again

⚜️ ⚜️ On my daily account equity value I plot (in excel) MA5 MA10 MA20. When my account value is above all MAs I risk 0,75% per trade, below MA5 but above MA10 0,5%, below MA10 but above MA20 0,25%, below MA20 0,125%. This way im always guided by my outcome, not outlook. ⚜️⚜️
