At the current pace of AI development, within the next 5–10 years, a large portion of existing jobs will be replaced. Elon Musk @elonmusk has said that AI and robots will dramatically increase productivity, making goods and services nearly unlimited, that humans may no longer need to work to survive, and that money itself could eventually become less important. It is a beautiful vision. But history has shown us, again and again -- technology does not automatically create fairness. If AI is controlled by a small minority, computing power and automation capital will only accelerate wealth concentration. AI will work for them, earn for them, while those without capital are pushed further to the margins. The wealth gap will not disappear. It will be amplified by technology. So-called “universal high income,” without fair participation and distribution mechanisms, is ultimately just a utopia for the few. Paxi believes that in the AI era, what truly matters is not AI itself, but who can participate, who can own, and who can benefit. AI will change the world, but only decentralized systems can ensure that this abundance is not monopolized.
