An MRI study with 30 participants produces about 1 ton of carbon emissions and yields only a single publishable research paper. (For reference: a 777 flying round-trip from NYC to London produces about 350 tons, and there are about 30 flights daily.) A key recommendation of the paper is to publish open-access. I think future work should also consider the environmental impact of exchanging emails among 17 authors.

@adnaaan433 @pranav_m28 asking wiser ones here. How is Pedri managing to be so good off the ball? while other midfilders (take our very own Macca or Grav) arent that good. I assumed most midfilders are just as mobile, fast, and run as much as Pedri.

Paul Tierney is recommending that the referee disallow Ashley Barnes’ goal for a handball according to camera angles that are inconclusive.
There is insufficient evidence there to overturn a goal given on-field, yet… here we are again.

Italy's notary system is the most baffling thing for me as an American. Notaries are highly-paid licenced rent collectors here in Italy: absolutely every document under the Sun must be notarized. The notary public is considered equal to the physician and lawyer.
