We continue to hold dangerous tow truck drivers accountable! We charged this driver with Dangerous Operation (CC) & Race a Motor Vehicle (HTA) They were observed driving dangerously to a collision & nearly striking a civilian vehicle Impound✅14 Days Licence Suspended✅30 Days

Our Safer Roads Team proactively attend street racing events to monitor for illegal activity & follow up with charges. They observed this vehicle drifting near pedestrians & driving at high rates of speed. The driver was later charged with Dangerous Operation & Stunt Driving.

We continue to conduct tow truck enforcement throughout Peel Region! In 2025, we have laid almost 2000 charges for towing related offences Earlier in December, we stopped this tow driven by a suspended driver... The driver was charged, the tow truck was impounded for 7 days

Unfortunately, we sometimes deal with repeat customers.. This driver had been stopped by our team before, but not in this broken truck! He had a suspended driver's licence for 3 different reasons & was on a Probation Order to not drive! Numerous charges laid Truck Impounded

On August 10th, we stopped two vehicles for stunt driving on Dixie Road in Brampton. Both vehicles were driving 121 km/h in a 60 km/h zone Both drivers were charged with speeding, stunt driving & other offences Both licences suspended 30 days Both vehicles impounded for 14 days

In 2024, this 26-year-old from Brampton was convicted of Impaired Driving. They were criminally prohibited from driving for 16 months On Monday, we stopped them in an uninsured vehicle They were charged with criminal & provincial charges The vehicle was impounded for 45 days

In August, we will be showcasing our enforcement of window, windshield, & licence plate tints It is important that your interior is clearly visible, to allow pedestrians & other drivers to see you while driving   Fines are $110 each for window, windshield, or licence plate tints

We stopped this 19-year-old from Ottawa for using a plate cover that obscured their licence plate The driver told us our friends @OttawaPolice didn't enforce this law. Investigation revealed the driver had a prior conviction for this offence in Ottawa 🤔 He was charged again
