@kanadbasu Gerhard X. Ritter. I owe him a lot. I took his Image Processing course as an undergraduate. He pulled me aside one day and said “you should go to grad school” and soon thereafter introduced me to who would become my PhD advisor, Paul Gader.

At one point when I was a grad student I was trying to figure a particularly difficult integral (sorting out a partition function). My PhD advisor suggested I get help from his Phd advisor, or my grand-advisor. He said “you’ll probably find him at Bagels Unlimited” 1/3
