@QuestionAbyss I’ve learned more from what I’ve failed at than I’d have learned from success, because failed experiments are an opportunity to figure out what the problem was & correct it. If you’re driven by one goal, there’s no room to grow or learn new data. No need for expansion of ideas.

Morning check in: Certain other folk and I are of the opinion that our "life is only about profit" culture have pushed us away from an important factor in growth---failure. If you feel like you've failed in life, don't feel that way. You're an adventurer.

Did you know that around a million people each year die from parasitic infections, let alone all the other animals that fall prey to parasites? I wonder if parasites were on the ark, and why would god save them…. Or even create them?

I not only know what they are, like any person seeking truth, I’ve wrestled with eternal punishment vs annihilation, evil, The Trinity etc. One elementary explanation (not the full story) is that if the Bible was made up, those issues would have been smoothed.

@hookskat @QuestionAbyss Yes, but it’s based on the scriptures (which have more evidence of truth than Socrates, Plato or any other writing from antiquity) , personal experiences and experiences of others. I lose nothing and gain everything from choosing to follow faith.
