"Knowing North Carolina, they're looking internally first. ... I believe that Kenny "The Jet" Smith is that dude."
—@stephenasmith on his pick for the next UNC men's basketball head coach 👀
Dudes really out here crying about "5 1st Round Draft Picks" despite...
A.) We made the Eastern Conference Finals for the 1st time in 25 years after making the trade.
B.) We're on the verge of 3 consecutive seasons of 50+ wins for only the 3rd time in Franchise History (80 year History).
C.) On the verge of the Playoffs 5/6 years.
D.) On the verge of making the Playoffs 4 consecutive years in a row.
E.) After tonight the 4th best Record within the entire NBA.
F.) A Roster that's built to become true NBA Championship Title Contenders throughout the next 5+ years moving forward.
G.) Plenty of 1st/2nd Round Future Draft Picks from now (2026) throughout 2032.
H.) Multiple Homegrown Players such as Deuce McBride and Mitchell Robinson along with younger Homegrown Draft Prospects being headlined by Tyler Kolek & Mohamed Diawara.
I.) The greatest New York Knick since dating back to only Patrick Ewing in Jalen Brunson.
J.) With a Win Tonight the #2 seed of the entire Eastern Conference.
K.) On the verge of winning our Atlantic Division for the 1st time since dating back to 2012-2013 of 13 years ago and for only the 9th time in Franchise History (1953, 1954, 1970, 1971, 1989, 1993, 1994, 2013).
L.) The NBA's 2nd best Record behind only San Antonio dating back to our Players-only-Meeting throughout our previous 29 Games @ 22-7.
M.) 5th best Offensive Rating since the Players-only-Meeting.
N.) #1 Defensive Rating since the Players-only-Meeting.
O.) #1 Net Rating since the Players-only-Meeting.
P.) After Patrick Ewing and before Thibs we missed the Playoffs 16/20 years (oh how quickly they've already forgotten).
Q.) In the midst of creating Playoff Rivalries ala the 1990's against the likes of Atlanta/Cleveland/Miami/Philadelphia/Indiana/Detroit/Boston + whoever we face come these up and coming 2026 NBA Playoffs.
R.) Extremely fun players to root for on a nightly basis in Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, Mitchell Robinson, Deuce McBride, Landry Shamet, Jose Alvarado, Tyler Kolek, Mohamed Diawara + Jeremy Sochan.
S.) A 1st year Knicks Head Coach in Mike Brown who's already exceeded my Regular Season expectations.
T.) On the verge of Deuce McBride returning before the Playoffs.
U.) Currently the highest Offensive Rating this season within New York Knicks Franchise History.
V.) Going for 7 consecutive wins in a row tonight.
W.) Our own 1st Round Draft Pick this up coming draft within the most fully loaded draft class since dating back to only 2003.
X.) The most healthiest team within the entire NBA once Deuce McBride returns.
Y.) Cap Space moving forward because of the Jalen Brunson hometown discount along with the NBA salary Cap set to increase.
Z.) Only 10 Games until the 2026 Playoffs begin.
But yet these dudes are still complaining about and/or harping all over "5 1st Round Draft Picks"?

@JetCastPod I’m trading down but I won’t go beyond #6
Accumulate extra picks and take best player available
Jets need a strong 2or 3 Draft years rebuild
The Jets are sitting on a goldmine with the No. 2 overall pick in next month's NFL Draft, and the question isn't just WHO they'll take, it's WHETHER they should take anyone at all.
After a brutal 2025 season, New York has already been aggressive in reshaping their roster. Aaron Glenn is calling defensive plays. They've added veterans like Minkah Fitzpatrick and Demario Davis. They even traded for Geno Smith to address the QB position.
Now comes the big decision: Do they draft Ohio State's Arvell Reese, the most talked-about prospect in this class? Or do they leverage what Pro Football Focus is calling their "most valuable trade asset" and trade back for more picks?
Here's the reality, the Jets have needs across both lines and throughout the roster. One player, even a star like Reese, can only do so much. But trading down? That could net them multiple impact players to accelerate this rebuild.
The safe play is taking Reese at No. 2. He's being called a no-brainer pick for a reason. But the SMART play might be capitalizing on another team's desperation to move up. With a month to go before the draft, expect GM Darren Mougey's phone to be ringing off the hook.
What would you do if you were running the Jets?
@SNYKPodHarlem@S_U_Network KD is a very good Other
He can not playmaker for Others
They are a 4-1 first rd exit loss
GM should be dismissed for not trading for Trae, Ja, Schroeder or the Jones brothers
This team desperately needs a Pg
How about signing Chris Paul?
The Houston Rockets is a 1st round exit
No way this team gets to the finals as presently constructed they had no business trading Jalen Green for Kevin Durant such a non needle moving trade
@SNYKPodHarlem@S_U_Network I asked a similar question on a Mentality Space, I asked is Alvarado a True Back Up Pg or a Sparkplug?
I think his Impact is Greater as a Sparkplug
I think Kolek is the better Back Up Pg.
Jose does play better Defense
I give Jose the nod to play
Brown can opt for Kolek at times
@Knickanator_ Paolo is a Good Player
He’s needs to a Batman
But the Truth is
He needs a Batman
He needs a Cade Cunningham
Or Maxey
Or a consistent LaMelo or Ja
Magics should trade for DeAaron Fox
As a Knick Fan, I’ll pass
I prefer KAT
@Knickanator_ We need a Tough Guy or Knucklehead
All of Players are Nice Guys
Guys you can introduce to your Daughter, Sister or Favorite Cousin or Niece
Newly acquired Jose Alvarado may be our only Toigh Guy
Team needs a Good
Where’s this teams
Mason?
Spree?
Greg Anthony?
Carmelo?
Give me Cam Thomas and surround him on a team with elite talent and he's unstoppable.
C: Karl-Anthony Towns.

🚨 The Knicks NEED a bucket-getter off the bench — and Cam Thomas is EXACTLY that.
🎯 Can create his own shot anytime
🔥 Instant offense when the half-court stalls
💥 Fearless scorer who doesn’t need plays called for him
🧊 Built for MSG moments
Every contender has a microwave scorer
Low risk. High upside. PURE BUCKETS. 🏀🗽
Waiver/Buyout Market Notables:
Mike Conley
Khris Middleton
Cam Thomas
Lonzo Ball
Haywood Highsmith
Pat Connaughton
Possibly many more….
Knicks can sign one more player. Anyone who you potentially want to see?
New York,
I imagined our journey differently, but in an athlete’s life, things don’t always go as planned.
Still, I’m grateful for every moment wearing this legendary jersey. Thank you to the staff, my teammates, and the fans for the support and energy.
Wishing you all the best moving forward.
