Le M23 as été réactivé à Bunagana en 2021 en partant de l’Ouganda où vivait Sultani Makenga. C’est le premier territoire qu’il on contrôle et celui ci n’as jamais été sous influence/contrôle du Rwanda mais bien de L’Ouganda vu que c’est leur poste transfrontalier. Once again 0/10

Rwanda is seeking an investor to take over its flagship beef initiative—Gako Meat Project in Bugesera District. The project covers 6,000 hectares of land. It already has more than 6,700 cattle. And every month, around 500 cows are ready for sale. But this is only the beginning. In April 2024, the government bought back all private shares, turning Gako Meat into a fully public company. Now, the plan is clear: privatize again, but this time to a professional, globally recognised investor. The deal is expected to be sealed by the end of 2025. The government has laid the foundation— roads, electricity, irrigation, and pastures. Over 1,050 hectares are irrigated for fodder. 310 hectares were planted with maize in December 2024, and more land is being prepared for the next season. What remains is the next phase. A slaughterhouse with capacity for 300 cattle a day. A tannery. A feed mill. And a modern system that connects Rwanda’s farmers to global markets. The vision is bold. By 2028/29, Rwanda wants to raise annual meat production from 207,097 tonnes to 247,223 tonnes. That’s nearly a 20% increase in five years. And Gako is central to that growth. Its location is strategic— just next to the new Bugesera International Airport. From here, premium cuts could serve five-star hotels, be shipped to East Africa, and reach markets in the Middle East. This project is not just about beef. It’s about jobs. It’s about exports. It’s about turning Rwanda into a hub for world-class meat production. The cattle are ready. The land is ready. A Rwanda Defense Forces source confirms Niyomugabo Samuel is from the 14th Battalion of @RwandaMoD, deployed in eastern #DRCongo just 2 weeks ago. En route, Wazalendo ambushed them. Some soldiers resisted orders to fight abroad - rare dissent inside RDF. Kigali ordered a sudden withdrawal for this battalion. In the retreat, Samuel was left behind and abandoned.
