Jesus stood before real people, not a distant future generation, and said plainly, “There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.” Those were His words. He wasn’t speaking to us thousands of years later, He was speaking directly to those standing in front of Him. So the question becomes… did Jesus mean what He said? I believe He did. Which means maybe the bigger issue is not whether Christ told the truth, but whether humanity has been deeply misled about prophecy, history, and where we truly stand in the timeline. Modern systems have taught people to push fulfillment far into the future, but Jesus repeatedly said the time was at hand. He wasn’t lying. So perhaps the real seed to plant is this… if Jesus was telling the truth to that generation, what does that mean for us today? And how much of our understanding has been shaped by deception rather than discernment?
