By not signing an injured player and a guy who can’t carry a team the Knicks signed a bunch of guys that where tradable, one of which turned into an All Star (Julius Randle)
Knicks were then able to give guys like RJ/IQ time to develop without trading them for James Harden
So they hired their own coach not Nash, traded RJ/IQ for OG, traded Randle for Towns, traded Reddish for Hart, dumped bad contracts for Brunson, developed Deuce McBride, kept Mitch and now we are here
