Telangana's revised market land values take effect from June 5. The new rates apply to agricultural land, plots, apartments and commercial properties — and will form the basis for registration charges and stamp duty going forward. The aim is to align government values with prevailing market rates. Buyers and sellers with pending registrations are rushing to complete them before the new rates kick in.

The Cabinet has approved ₹7,597.16 crore to widen 190.76 km of national highway in Telangana to 4-lane standard. Two stretches are covered: the Armoor–Jagtial–Mancherial section of NH-63 (on Hybrid Annuity Model) and the Jagtial–Karimnagar section of NH-563 (on BOT Toll).
