@TassjaEmily @phsgroup @Bradford_YJS Hi Tassja, Sadly, YJS's aren't covered by the period products scheme funded by the government We no longer take donations as our work mainly focused on schools and colleges - so sadly we're unable to help too Sorry not to be of more help for the people at Bradford YJS

@RedBoxProject @phsgroup We’d love to do this at @Bradford_YJS…is it only schools who can get involved? Many of our girls don’t access education and struggle with access to period products. Is there someone I can talk to about signing up?

All parts of the UK now have period product schemes for schools and colleges in place - so we will share details of all the schemes in the different nations. Stay tuned on our social media channels for more information.

We have seen the news over the last few days that young people are still struggling to access period products in schools and colleges. This is such disheartening news and naturally we will do all that we can to improve matters. bbc.co.uk/news/education…

This is fantastic to see! Normalising periods in assemblies helps tackle the stigma around menstruation and helps people seek period products when they need them! Thank you Chorlton High School!

It would seem, Maya, that you don't fully understand period poverty. We've put together a thread for you. Our work focused on schools and educational settings - supporting over 5,000 in the UK - and period poverty was, and still is, very much real and 'a thing' in the UK 1/

We completely understand that's its not as simple as just getting the first product available - owing to things like allergies, as you mentioned. Sadly, Maya had a very simplistic outlook. Hopefully, she's more aware now ✊🩸

@pryorandy We agree, Andy. And that's why we'll always bang the drum to raise awareness and educate about period poverty and the plight of the issue

@karryp It's this because of experiences like the one of the lady you mention that we make no apologies for raising awareness of period poverty Thanks for your support for your guests - I'm sure they really value it ✊🩸

@RedBoxProject We accept pads and tampons that our guests can chose. Imagine a family with mum and 3 teenage girls; the cost soon mounts up. I spoke to a lady a few months ago who was using an old cut up tee-shirt, and didn't dare leave home incase it leaked. Women shouldn't be living like this

@snugbookshop Thank you! We will keep raising awareness and education around periods and period poverty ✊🩸 We no longer take donations as schools have a gov funded scheme now. However, we'd love for you to support your local community with products through a local food bank or other org ❤️
