We quietly ensure that no young person misses school because they have their period.







We have seen the news over the last few days that young people are still struggling to access period products in schools and colleges. This is such disheartening news and naturally we will do all that we can to improve matters. bbc.co.uk/news/education…



This morning, Y9 girls were given free sanitary products to take away- pads, tampons and period proof knickers ❤️ At CHS, we provide free sanitary products for all girls and we will be visiting assemblies to inform students of the support available 🥰 #community #support #love




"Period poverty" is not a thing in the UK (as I have said before, poverty is a thing) - sanitary products are relatively cheap, and widely accessible. - employing government /voluntary sector functionaries to distribute such products is wasteful make-work/distraction
