The US doesn’t need to declare a national holiday if we beat England. We already have a national holiday for beating England.

"This is a pretty solid roster." @ReportYank is looking forward to seeing what the latest USMNT roster can do at the Nations League. 🇺🇸

@Ultimatekai498 Just taking a break from content. But I've committed to putting out some videos in October.

USMNT just decided to play at 100 mph and Oman can't keep up. Incredible stuff.

We get caught up attaching too much weight/reason to systems, tactics, and formations. It's understandable. We want to find reason in the randomness of the game. But I think there's no team sport that has more player autonomy and is less reliant on coaching/tactics than soccer.

@AlexiLalas Well it’s all conjecture, we’re not in the training sessions or meeting rooms. From my ivory tower I feel the boys lack fluidity in attack, often times. Whether that’s Gregg’s fault or not is regularly debated. I have a hard time putting my finger on said “system”.

@bob_morocco @AlexiLalas But their conclusions leave a lot to be desired. Essentially, they say coaches do impact certain things in certain sports, but there is no guarantee that the impact from the individual coach will sustain season to season.

@jakehteach @ReportYank Yeah but we have another camp in October. So it wouldn’t be a long wait. But obviously whatever his camp and GGG think is best. And he hasn’t worked with GB yet actually…

Pepi will get his looks for PSV this season. No doubt about that, but with Sargent starting the season hot and Balo being Balo, you have to wonder about the USMNT Striker pecking order for September Friendlies.

The strongest interest for Folarin Balogun until now has been from AS Monaco, and they remain interested - I expect new bid for Balogun soon. Let’s see if English clubs will try too, but at the moment it’s just about being informed rather than any concrete negotiations. With Chelsea, the links come because Balogun shares an agent with Romeo Lavia, but I’m not aware of direct contacts between Chelsea and Arsenal, no bids, it’s just normal contacts between agents, not a proper negotiation. @MLS_Buzz The path for "2nd tier" SA exports has always been Netherlands, Portugal, Belgium, Russia. These are the leagues that have been affected by MLS buying up 2nd tier SA talent. I'd like to see that comparison. I'd bet it's favorable.

Name one league outside of Europe that’s buying young players from Europe and South America and selling them for $15 million or more You can’t. MLS is in its own division as a non-European selling league
