Seen a lot of people thinking his character was wasted because he got the backstory at the end but that's not true imo
We got to know Akhos as who he is now. The context of his backstory at the end is to give closure to what you could've already figured out by then

@SuperSavajin People are definitely overreacting it's an upgrade through and through. That said, it probably is the worst ns2 edition thus far and for a monolithsoft/xenoblade game it is disappointing

Yes I want monolithsoft to fix this so everyone can be happy. And fan outcry is what makes devs listen, but we could frame it in a better way. Like saying it needs more work and not saying "it's not worth it" and "it makes the game worse"

I feel like the Xenoblade community is always downplaying and self manipulating XenoX. It all started with telling people the story is not good and now that the upgrade pack is not it. It might come from a place of wanting better but it's come to the point where its more damaging

@SynthPotato @NintendoAmerica @finalfantasyvii The ps5 version was actually very sharp. It was only in performance mode that it looked blurry. So this being 30fps and clear kinda makes sense

@DoomAssistMe But who's making that Warriors game ? Omega Force (who did FE3Hopes) already released Dynasty&Hyrule Warriors last year, they're doing Pokopia this year. Team Ninja did the OG FEW but they just released Ninja Gaiden4 & Nioh3.

This all leads me to what I believe this probably is, and its Xenoblade Warriors. Monolithsoft is busy on their next project, and this is likely the best way to continue keeping the IP alive and in people's minds. Only question is will it be canon?

They're not going to drop the Kos-Mos from Xenosaga 3 into the narrative, connect the two series cause namco sold the IP to nintendo or some other such nonsense. Even if they did, thats asking for people to have knowledge from a failed game released in small numbers 20 years ago

Toriyama said something similar to Toyotaro years ago but less harshly. I wonder if he also meant changing the width of the shot and Toyotaro misinterpreted it. after this comment we started getting a lot more very ambitious angles from Toyo but not in terms of shot width.
