@megynkelly Most people didn’t know about Kent until yesterday, and I think you’re really overestimating Tucker’s influence.
Regardless, they’re either guilty or not guilty.
If they’re guilty, they should be indicted.
If they’re not guilty, then they shouldn’t.

@stuey_beef @ShamashAran I'm pretty sure we can find some Guy Fawkes masks somewhere to send over. Just saying.
English

@ShamashAran Absolutely yes and he has just won his appeal

@stuey_beef Man... and I thought my country's judges were bad.
English

@NickelmanJ @johnkonrad Yep, no idea what point you are trying to make. I thought we were agreeing at first and now I don't think you understand basic economics.
English

@SamStrongTalks @johnkonrad I don’t think you’re following.

And there it is folks. The moment Jones Act haters have been waiting for…

@emelem66 @DefiyantlyFree Stop following people who only talk about Israel and Jews then.
English

@DefiyantlyFree How about if you just have Israel fatigue? I'm tired of hearing about them in conjunction with America.

@NickelmanJ @johnkonrad Which economics? The economics of how much it costs to ship things from one US port to another? Because it absolutely does change that.
Reduce the supply and you increase the cost, that is economics 101.
English

@SamStrongTalks @johnkonrad That doesn’t change the economics.
English

@NickelmanJ @johnkonrad 100% Honestly, the law just needs to get changed rather than temporary waviers. The argument that we need it to preserve our ship building companies for security reasons is decent, but has resulted in us lagging behind other countries in building ships.
English

@SamStrongTalks @johnkonrad Regardless, waiving it to any extent makes transportation more efficient because there’s no need to inject international routes when they’re not he most efficient way to travel.
English

@NickelmanJ @johnkonrad No, just non-US ships. It is pure protectionism.
English

@SamStrongTalks @johnkonrad Does the Jones Act not prevent ALL ships from traveling from one US port to another?

Ex-Blockbuster employee here. And I mean it with 100% sincerity that the world would be a better place if we shut down all streaming services, re-opened Blockbusters and video stores worldwide, and shoved people back out into the world to find and enjoy their entertainment.

Everybody meet Jeremy Williams. He was the principle of a Oregon High School.
Jerry celebrated Charlie Kirk's m*rder because Jerry thouht Charlie was a bad person
Jerry was just sentenced to five years in prison for possession of child p**n
I don't think Charlie was the bad person in this story

English

@NickelmanJ @johnkonrad Hmm, not sure what point you are making exactly.
The Jones act prevents non-US made ships from transporting between US ports. So only US ship can be used for internal US navel shipping. This drives up the cost of the transport and the ships required to do it, and reduces quality

@NamelessMinion1 @andrewklavan Seems odd that all the DW hosts other than Ben (as far as I can tell) posted about this... the silence, as they say, is deafening.
I've been a fan of Ben for a long time and would like to understand what lead to the apparent falling out. It could change my view of either.
English

@andrewklavan Can we hope to have some collabs with Jeremy and the hosts of DW? Maybe I'm sentimental but I'd like to think there's still some cooperation and respect there, at the least. The breakup made me sad.
English

I know this guy! I look forward to this!

It's been a year since I left The Daily Wire. A lot has changed in the country and in the conservative movement in that short amount of time. But America isn't over, and the politics of anger and despair do not have to win. The future belongs to those who build it. Time to get back to work.
English

@NickelmanJ @johnkonrad Yeah, quite a racket. Only your ships can transport goods between US ports, so you have some built in demand and little to no incentive to reduce prices/increase quality. Part of the reason that a lot of other countries eat our lunch in ship building.
English

@SamStrongTalks @johnkonrad Yeah, the shipbuilders complaining for distortive monetary reasons makes sense.
