It takes every inch of my soul not to reply to some of these netball key board warriors who clearly were never selected to play in school, couldn’t pass their level 2 coaching and never reached level 6 in their umpiring! It’s the hate towards individual players that breaks me 😡

@paulanetball @NetballComments Regardless of how much or how little the players will be earning, Prem is still an amateur league. A league for those 80+ players who will now not be contracted this season and want to still play at the highest level of netball.

@NetballComments @Sam_CookieCook Reality is the “professional pay” doesn’t mean anything as the 90-95% players still will not be able to give up full time work to concentrate on netball. A 60% increase will mean majority of players will earn about £5k -£10 k for the year…. Nothing changes really 🤔

So professionally payed players may be allowed to play in an amateur league depending on if franchises give them the green light? Please can someone make that make sense 🤯 How can you not align contract wording with what has been put in place for a ‘professional’ sport. Shambles
