The problem for Jordies is that things have never been worse in Australia. He spent his entire career complaining about the Liberals. His entire brand is literally, "Wow, Liberals suck, right?". After the 2019 election, he even released a video stating, "A Liberal government benefits me. I would be on suicide watch if there was a Labor government. I've made an entire career out of paying out the Liberals. What am I gonna do if we have a competent government?". That whole act just doesn't stack up anymore as Labor are in power and fumbling the ball on just about everything. For Jordie to turn on Labor would be for him to turn on his own audience and to admit he mislead them into believing Labor would somehow be better. Labor MPs have to do the same dance by pretending everything is the Liberals fault. Integrity would destroy Jordies brand and his life's work would be over in an instant. So until the Liberals are back in power again, he's just going to have to grin and bare the death threats, and a rapidly declining nation with deteriorating standing of living because that's the only way he knows.

Arab gangsters tried to murder the most prominent left wing political commentator in Australia in a firebombing attack yet nobody in Australia talks about it and the entire Australian left basically has an omerta about it. The New South Wales police won't charge the Arab gangsters who tried to murder him. And the Labor Party won't do anything about it because they don't want to lose votes in West Sydney. It's honestly extraordinary. FriendlyJordies is literally the number one pro-Labor media guy in the entire country. He's probably shifted hundreds of thousands of votes to the Labor column at election time - I am not exaggerating when I say his work has been instrumental to the Labor Party's success, to the point that you could easily argue he's been one of the most important Labor Party figures of the 21st century. He's been hundreds of times more impactful than the average Labor Party hack backbench MP who just makes up the numbers in parliament for a salary. He's genuinely a prime mover in Labor Party history. Yet the Labor Party is happy to literally physically sacrifice him in order to avoid losing votes to Islamist identity politics voters in West Sydney. The NSW Labor government - which appoints the NSW Police Force - is seemingly fine with FriendlyJordies just straight up being killed by Arab gangsters. That's their revealed preference by failing to charge the culprits in the Alameddine crime family who ordered his attempted killing. How does this insane fact not change the way he sees politics? I don't understand how he can't recognise that Australia's migration policies have failed. He was literally firebombed by a foreign crime gang - how is this not enough to help lift the scales from one's eyes? FriendlyJordies, wake up. We do not have to have a single member of the Alameddine crime family in Australia. This was a strange and weird choice made by politicians decades ago and it's clearly been a disaster for the country. We made an active choice to welcome them to this country only for them to turn around and spit in our faces by killing dozens of people in drug wars while also promoting Islamic extremism. So why do we have to have them here? We could just deport them. FriendlyJordies, wake up.

@TRobinsonNewEra I've never had Chick-fil-A, but Nando's is kind of overrated in my experience. It's not bad, it's just not great.

Trying Chick-fil-A at the Glenn Beck studios today and I’ve got to be honest - it’s no Nando’s. 🇬🇧 My son said it was "disrespectful" to even compare the two, and after trying it, I think he’s right. It’s decent, but it doesn’t touch a proper grilled chicken from back home. 6/10 at best. Americans, you need to get to the UK for a real feed!

Back in college, I had a crush on the guy who sat next to me in class. One day I finally got the courage to ask him, “Hey… do you want to grab coffee sometime?” He smiled politely and said, “That’s really nice of you to ask, but I’m kind of busy these days.” I got embarrassed and quickly tried to play it off. “Oh no, I didn’t mean it like that,” I said. “I’m actually doing a survey for a class project about people’s favorite coffee shops.” He nodded like he believed me, and after that we just stayed normal classmates. A few weeks later, I saw him at the mall holding hands with someone. Then the girl he was with turned to him and said, “Come on, babe, we’re going to be late.”

Just curious guys, what’s the worst thing you’ve done just to get your crush’s attention???

@breakingbaht As long as I could choose the region, I'd pick SA over Russia as well. At least there you can get a gun license, legally carry, and defend yourself with it.

This was the hardest lesson for me to learn before turning anti left: There is no bottom. For left whites, they arent going to change their minds. They will *literally* be in the process of being murdered and not abandon their faith (liberalism). I once asked a "centrist" liberal where theyd would rather live, South Africa now, or Russia. And they chose SA. You cant reason with people that devoted to their own demise any more than you can negotiate with a terrorist.

My mentor at my first dev job once told me: “You will never make it to Junior 2.” Why? Because I asked a question about a technology I had never used before. The next day HR and the CEO scheduled a call. I was fired for that same reason. Now imagine if I had a weak mindset. That moment could’ve convinced me I wasn’t good enough. That I should quit coding. But I didn’t. I laughed and kept going. 4 years later: • I have 3 apps making money • I code better than that mentor • I make more than I did at that job And more importantly, I learned things that job would never have taught me: Infrastructure. Security. Marketing. Finance. So in a way… they were right. I was never meant to make it to Junior 2. I was meant to be CEO and CTO of my own things.

If you’re thinking about buying a new VCR, Betamax is the way to go. Far superior to VHS and if it was me, I’d go for a toploader. It’s less to go wrong.

In 2010, when Julia Louis-Dreyfus saw the reveal of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, she soon discovered there was a typo in her name. The mistake? The star read "Luis" instead of "Louis" and there was no hyphen between Louis and Dreyfus. Julia took it all in stride, saying, "The misspelling was so perfectly apt, a great metaphor for show business," Louis-Dreyfus said. "Right when you think you've made it, you get knocked down... It's an ideal metaphor for how this business works." #Seinfeld

@JamesLear99 @monsterhunter45 Augers are terrifying as hell. Seen a dude lose half a hand to one in the blink of an eye, and heard several accounts of people turned to mush at the bottom of a post hole because their clothing caught on the hole digger. 😳

Yeah, I know this is engagement bait bullshit from a European with no clue, but I see this kinda RETURN TO FARM post on X all the time, and it's always some idylic dreamscape of rural niceness, which makes it really fucking obvious to all of us who come from farming backgrounds that these people have zero fucking clue, and would probably end up wrapped around an auger on their first day. News flash. Farming is HARD. What these people are imagining is rural living on a big plot of land, where they've got income from something else, and maybe a couple of animals to keep down the grass and a little garden on the side. That's what I do now that I'm a rich guy. It's pretty awesome. I also know that if I had to make a living off this land I could probably do it (because unlike these weenies, I know how) but I don't want to, because it would absolutely fucking suck. Because in reality making a living off being a farmer is brutal. It's nonstop backbreaking labor where everything that can go wrong, will. And it will go wrong at absolutely the worst possible time. (especially if cows are involved!) Modern squishy internet people do not even sorta comprehend how hard farming is. I worked on dairy farms. I can't speak for the dirt farmers but I'm sure they've got their own set of wacky nonsense they get to put up with. It is LONG hours. I once did a stint opening up a new dairy where I worked 72 hours straight, with a couple of thirty minute naps in a truck or on the barn floor snuck in. There's nothing quite as fun as dealing with fifteen hundred pound animals and dangerous heavy equipment when you're so tired you're starting to see things that aren't there. Oh, and you'd better get real comfortable with blood, shit, piss, and death. Dealing with lots of farm animals is not for the squeamish. They're going to get sick, get injured, get stuck in infuriating and mysterious ways, and die stupidly on you. Every kind of livestock has got its peculiar way of being a pain in the ass. Cows are loveable, curious, stupid, and sometimes homicidal. I've been kicked, trampled, hooked, and smashed into/through fences. These sheltered idiot city people say crap like "go buy a farm" having zero comprehension of how much good farmland costs, or the insane costs of equipment, or livestock involved. If they saw what a good tractor cost they'd shit themselves. "Buy land"... Have you priced land? Oh, you can still buy cheap land, but it's usually cheap for a reason. As in you can't farm it, or it doesn't have water, or it's a nightmare hellscape of windy death. So farming is expensive to get into, hard to make a profit at, and insanely difficult the entire time. Oh yeah, and just when you think you've got it figured out, the government will absolutely fuck with you, because it's also super regulated. Yay. "skip the degree"... Lady, I got into college on an ag scholarship, and started out as an ag science major. Successful farmers are educated because this shit is complicated. (I then changed majors and got an accounting degree so I wouldn't have to pull calves at 3:00 AM, a decision which I have not regretted) These fuckers think farming is just strolling around in a sun dress picking wild flowers or some shit. Oh hell no. Farmers farm because they want to, and the juice is worth the squeeze for them.
Pamela@PamelaBies

Advice to the younger generation: Skip the degree. Buy land. Become a farmer.
