I continue to support the repeal of Obamacare and replacing it with true free market reforms, not just some rearranging of the current system. My Health Marketplace and Savings Accounts For All Act is the only truly conservative option. newsweek.com/rand-paul-my-p…

Your M4A plans has issues bernie. Goals is good. Particulars, not so much. 1. Everything is at the discretion of the sec of HHS. Including the drug formulary. And what is a medical necessity. How would that be working right now ? (p31) 2. Any provider can choose not to participate, not getting any M4A dollars and requiring patients to say they won’t turn in a claim. (p27) This is a dream come true for the highest end providers. The more expensive you are, the happier you are not to take patients who pay Medicare rates. 3. You seriously are going to renegotiate all drug pricing annually ? (P53) 4. You do providers a huge service by killing off all but supplemental insurance plans. Which means that providers will do much like they do today, offer financing. And make more money because their overhead will be lower. They can do credit checks on anyone first, reducing their risk 5. You say hospitals that opt out can only sign a contract if From Sec. 303(b)(1)(B) — “be entered into at a time when the individual is facing an emergency health care situation;” This has to be a typo. But it’s also in the 2023 bill. Is this bad proofreading , or are you effectively saying, no provider can opt out unless they exclusively sign contracts with patients that are in the emergency room ? Some of whom may be unconscious or in deep distress. This makes no sense. 6. Every other country that offers Universal Health Care either uses a gatekeeper doctor or charges a premium directly or indirectly for that patient choice. Canada and the UK use this to keep down costs. Your plan does not. That could destroy the budget you want to set Healthcare is a right. But you can’t get people the care they need, if you don’t consider the realities of a healthcare ecosystem where a few companies dominate the economics of the system.

Do these idiots not understand that you can use the subsidy to buy an insurance plan that works for you?

Have talked to a few WIAC football coaches recently who are concerned about potential changes coming to the WIAC Network streaming. Currently, games are streamed free and provide opportunity for teams to promote themselves to recruits and fans around the country. The WIAC is moving towards a pay-per-view model next year, which the league hopes will increase revenue, but coaches are concerned will drastically reduce the promotional reach of the league and its teams, and the ability for recruits to watch games. We'll see how this ends up playing out.

Is the New York Times the most dangerous "news" organization in America? It seems like it is captured by the military industrial complex.
