My next tattoo session is Thursday and I'm having a hard time coming up with a design, so I sent my artist this. "You know the theme and inspiration, so go with what you think will be best in your style. Even if it's not one of my ideas, I know I'll love it." It's awesome when you find an artist that you really like their work and can trust that they can turn your ideas into a work of art.

Sell me on why I would need a tax pro. Everything is W2/long term capital gains (yes I know my cost basis for every sale). I don’t own rental property. I get almost nothing back because my withholdings are laser accurate each year (no free loans to the gov). I’m struggling to imagine a world where you provide $750 in value to me. Is there some hook/special case I’m simply unaware of?

Clients daughter, married in 2023. Early March… “We need to use a tax pro.” Us: ok, it will be $750. C: woah, that’s expensive! Us: ok Yesterday: ok, we’ll hire you if it’s $650. Need to file on time. Uhhh…that’s not how you treat a tax pro in April.

Would be what I am creating now which isn’t really an accounting firm anymore. It is a business advisory firm that will do accounting if you need it but the real goal is building abundance in small business owners and their businesses. Which means we don’t need to do the bookkeeping (we even work with other bookkeeping firms) If we are doing the accounting in house we would use QBO (staff familiarity matters), Keeper, Dext, Bill.com. US Tax: on CCH currently but would likely take another look at ProConnect if launching new since it is cloud based

@SqueezeTaxes Last summer, my son got it from his best friend’s sister. He had grown his hair out, & I came home to him buzzing it on the back porch. 🤦🏼‍♀️ He still had to treat it. But he only gave it to one of his siblings, so that was a blessing! We had to wash & pick her hair twice.

Looking to start a new business? Consider a lice treatment business. I spent almost $500 for my daughter and I to get our hairs treated plus prevention products. It sucks, but at least I don’t spend hours dealing with her hair and my hair. That’s the value of the service

What a terrible way to market @Xero Even if I was mad at Intuit this marketing campaign has me feeling real 🤮 about your business practices. If you are a good company then you don’t have to talk 💩 about another company to prove your value. Talk to me about how awesome your company is and show me how it can benefit me. Don’t do this! It just looks like a “woe is me” play and I can’t stand it. #MarketingFail

@nickmeals @Xero has a new inventory module. Most who like Xero use an inventory add-on, though.

OK bookkeepers and tax folks - Client with $15-20M in revenue is considering a change from Sage. Would prefer no QB. Key factor is inventory tracking as they move a lot of it. What recommendations would y'all have?
