The route allows potential advances toward the western Bekaa or a flanking maneuver down toward Kfarchouba on the mountain’s western slopes.
It isn't clear that Sharaa was asked for permission by Israel or granted Israel free passage. There is nothing he could do about it either way.

You don’t get to say it’s acceptable to criticize Zionism but then call it antisemitic the moment that people actually define what it is. ‘Jewish supremacy’ isn’t an attack on Jews as a people. The incident is indicative to me of the broader problem where the state is unwilling or unable to disarm the Sunni majority, & resorting to mob behaviour when a dispute or controversy arises. This needs to stop. Disarmament for all communities, please.

Spoke w/someone in Suqaylabiya: what happened is people from Qalaat al-Mudiq harrassed Christian girls in the town. Men from Suqaylabiya told them to stop, & subsequently people from Qalaat al-Mudiq brought others from their town to attack stores & terrorise people in Suqaylabiya

Nou, je bent eruit gekomen voordat het dossier überhaupt bij de rechtbank kwam. Velen zitten al meer dan een jaar vast want er zijn veel te veel zaken daar. Daar had ik afgelopen zomer nou net onderzoek naar gedaan. #Polisario En voor de rest, bloody shame.
