@gritngrace1423 Peace is a personal choice. The past is a memory. The future is a dream. Peace exists in the present moment when you let go of the chaos and live in acceptance and gratitude. It’s your choice. Choose wisely 🙏

I have a new language based content idea: Un-hijacking words that have been that have been taken from us through semantic drift. Not sure what I'll call this series as it may be more sporadic than daily, as it requires a bit more reseach and effort than my Word of the Day series. Here is my first entry. A lot of words get hijacked by semantic drift (as well as through other means). For example: Rumination - "A deep or considered thought about something" However, Psychology has hijacked the term to imply a negative connotation, shifting the meaning: "The focused, repetitive, and passive dwelling on negative emotions, past mistakes, or personal concerns without reaching a resolution" I propose a new term, that follows the rennaisance Revival of Learning, in which we rediscovered Latin and Greek texts that gave us an explosion of meaning and terminology. Pathomorosus - From the Greek pathos, meaning "What befalls one," "experience," "misfortune," "suffering," "emotion," "feeling," "passion," or "affliction." And from the Latin morosus, meaning "Peevish," "fretful," "capricious," "wayward," "self-willed," "fastidious," "hypercritical," "hard to please," "persnickety," or "difficult (in temperament)." This much better describes the phenomenom that Psychology has identified, without muddying up meaning within our language. Shout out to @Cli_Chey and @FamousInMyPhone for helping to rouse this idea from my curiosity.

@Marie17cf A good friend of mine cured her dog’s cancer with low doses of powdered apricot seeds. True story.

¹Natural medicine is often hidden in the most humble of places. Our world today faces some large diseases. As big as giants like cancer can be, healing it can come from something as small as a seed made from God. This 🧵 is a David and Goilith story full of hope.

Just so we are clear... I am more MAGA now than ever. I support President Trump now more than ever. We must vote while we work to take back elections from manipulation, corruption, and theft. I want Israeli influence out of my government. I want CCP influence out of my government. I want Muslim Brotherhood influence out of my government. Islam is not compatible with America. I stand with the United States military, and anyone who targets our troops should face overwhelming retaliation and unforgiving consequences. At this point, anyone standing against President Trump is either blind, compromised, or a fool. Thank you for your attention to this matter. -ALPHA

@TheRob1772 Yeah, I think the amp was around the same year, in the 60’s - he got it when he was in law school.

@Steph_Polymath Those wires are vacuum tubes and the reason the clean tone on that amp sounds so smooth and amazing. My father has the same amp. His is a 1963. I love antique gear. It doesn't suit the music I play and write but I'm a gear nerd/whore. Your dad had REALLY great taste in gear.

Guitarists! Post your guitfiddles. If you have more than one post your favorite. Other (less important members of the band, especially bassists... Just kidding!) post pics of your MUSICAL instrument (and no MAGAthots and pornwhores, the skin flute is not a musical instrument) I'll start. This is my George Lynch signature baritone that I bought in 2006. I've used it very infrequently over the past 20 years but recently I had a custom pickup installed and holy shit. The last year or so it's all I play now. It's a 27 inch scale and I'm realizing way late in the game that the scale is much better suited to my preferred tuning (drop A standard)and size of my hands. This is the go to for the album I'm working on. Tracking all my guitar parts exclusively with this monster. Yes it's very early 2000s tribal but it still rips. Let's see em!

@TheRob1772 This was from 2013- you can hear how great the amp sounds in this video…if you can tune out my nephews acting like rabid animals. At least I cropped out the part they started blowing on the Vuvuzela horn from the World Cup. 🤣

He LOVED his guitars. They are literally family members, he and my step-mom dedicated an entire room of their house for the guitars. He taught himself to play by ear in college, we grew up listening to him play. He was never in a band or anything, was too busy, but music and partially guitars were a huge part of him.
