Perfect weather for it in Kyoto. A couple of highlights were (1) chatting with a 93-year-old Japanese chap about painting and what Kyoto used to be like and (2) a gaggle of ecstatic kindergarten kids swarming my easel/me before their teacher rescued me. #pleinair #sakura #kyoto
