Our borrowing costs are higher now than they were last July. You are doing this because the policy is very unpopular, not because the fiscal position is any better. Much better to be honest about it

The Tories left us with a £22 billion black hole. My government has fixed the foundations of our economy. @fergustp @pseuderman @BladeoftheS From my understanding you have to be "registered" as not working. If you choose not to work and don't claim benefits, you don't get a pension. My friend, born early 1950s, was self employed, never paid contributions and never claimed anything. Not entitled to state pension.

The Government gave its decision to WASPI at their first meeting Feb 2016 & hasn’t changed its stance since.
When has a Government ever paid out anything2 a large divided group of 4million believing the majority weren’t grotesquely affected.

@WASPI_Campaign @DWPgovuk @solent_waspi Lots of good points but actually come to think of it if I get no more than a third of the pension pot of men my age it really wasn’t about levelling up. So I don’t agree any longer I’ve had 7yrs to think on it

I always say this very thing to my trainees.
Also doing interventional Cardiology is easy, knowing when not to do it, if you do it- the best way of doing it , and getting yourself / patient out of trouble if it goes wrong is the hard part and my role as a trainer.

I don't know who thinks that 10000 is fair compensation for waspi when I lost 6 years pension + part of my widows pension and all that ni I've paid which equates to 5 times more of the 10000 and I got to know at 59 just 6 mths before I was due to retire. So think about that.
