When I follow the docs to do a backup, it tells me to use the backup feature, but it also defaults to including the --format=custom flag. That creates the .dump file. Then I'm supposed to use the restore feature with that dump file, but just always errors out. No matter what flags I try to use. I don't know, I'm lost at this point.

It runs pg_restore under the hood (there’s no reason to run the dump file as binary). Do you copy the file somewhere? I think the app couldn’t access the file due to the permission issue. Many users are using the feature but we did not receive anh report so could be a permission issue (could be wrong)

I just find the process extremely cumbersome and error prone. I just want to migrate my database to another host, both are postgres 18. But always getting various errors like this for example: Restoring... /bin/sh: /database.dump: Permission denied Doing some googling and error is TablePlus attempting to run the dump file as an executable script instead of passing it to pg_restore, apparently. I could be wrong, but I'm just so use to the ease of data transfers when using Navicat or something. No issues at all

We've been targeted recently on Stripe and X. Fortunately, we have 2FA enabled and use a unique, strong password generator. My heart is still racing (like King Engine) 😅 P.S We don't know why Hecker wants to hack X, but we think they want the handle.

Extremely important 1. Enable 2FA. 2. Use a unique, strong password (for example, one generated by the Apple Password Generator). We're all computer scientists, engineers, and developers... but sometimes, we still FALL FOR IT, and these could save our asses, believe it guys 😂

@decoded_dev I was confused because it didn’t make sense too. However, AppKit triggers an unnecessary redraw function when the table reaches the edges, which only occurs if you enable the ruler and alternating row colors.

"Pho noodles" are different from regular noodles. Pho noodles must be made from fresh rice flour (grind rice mixed with water) and used immediately after they are made. Dry noodles are not considered authentic pho noodles. Additionally, the soup contains special ingredients, such as star anise.

Is Vietnamese Pho just Chinese beef noodles or are Chinese beef noodles just Vietnamese Pho???
