The most off-putting part is the hole before, after he and smotherman both hit the green on 15, the camera was directly in their face walking to the green and he was all smiles. Hicks even commented on how chummy they looked. Lowry didn’t say “fook all” about the cameras then. Little adversity strikes and he’s waving off a cameraman doing his job. He’s filming the guy facing the adversity. Really embarrassing stuff

@alrada0621 @engineeringolf That’s why when a tour player breaks a gamer head they’ll be very upset because finding a replacement is really difficult. As a driver head is used more, the face also wears out and gets thinner making it hotter.

@engineeringolf It’s more simple, it’s not about club damage, they get free clubs, they always tee off with woods on holes with a clean ball, they want to practice that way. When hitting irons (other than a tee shot) ball isnt perfectly clean, so they wouldn’t practice in that fashion

Caddies toss range balls to a pro when hitting fw or driver. Why? Range balls are wet/sandy. If not cleaned, this changes performance and can leave damage on the face. Iron grooves reduce this effect, and the lighter face color hides the damage.

@alrada0621 @engineeringolf Doesn’t matter if they can get another driver head for free because it won’t be the same. Each driver head is unique and different because they can’t perfectly be built the same. Especially with hot melts in their heads being manually put in. Performance, feel, sound, all unique

@alrada0621 @engineeringolf Incorrect. They won’t ever hit a wet sandy ball on the course off the tee so they won’t on the range. Secondly they want to preserve their driver face which can get damaged by sand on a ball. Driver faces are sensitive and driver heads are irreplaceable. No two heads are the same

@NUCLRGOLF @TrackingRory LIV is a ‘private equity’ investment, with Saudi PIF as lead investor .. PE depending on the stage, is VERY capital call intensive .. a business can go to ZERO if the investor STOPS FUNDING and there’s not enough revenue to carry itself as a business LIV is dicey, AT BEST!
