Watching that woman perform with the guitar on stage at the Verona Arena during the Olympic closing ceremonies, it struck me if Michael Lindsay-Hogg knew of this place. Could have been an easier sell to have Beatles playing Italy in January 1969 instead of traveling to Tunisia

This is when I used to give the hot take the Get Back sessions couldn't have been so bad, they were eager to record again 3 weeks later, held up by legit reasons like tonsils & essential personnel tied up overseas. Not so hot anymore! (and that's good!) x.com/TheyMayBeParte…

@thebeatles The Get Back/Let It Be sessions didn't break up the Beatles! Don't listen to people who tell you that! If George didn't get his tonsils out, Ringo didn't film The Magic Christian, if Billy wasn't unavailable, they would have gotten together sooner than the 3 weeks it took them.
