Admittedly the chart looks nasty. Project that has been building since inception in 2021! Dex aggregator on 40+ chains. $4m fdv with daily volumes, depending on your source at least $40m daily 🚀🚀 Just bought a bag $OOE

Keir Starmer is quietly turning into quite an impressive PM for an international global crisis. Calm, astute and strong when he needs to be. Not that he’ll get any praise for it in the media or on here of course, but he has shown real leadership in an extremely challenging situation.

@isnit0 Why should pensioners have to suffer to accommodate illegal immigrants and bone idle lurches who sit on their ass all day?

PSA: Pensioner Spending is the single largest line item here - *£160bn*. More than half of all benefit spending. More than NHS England, or all NHS Providers. Want to pay less tax? Reduce the benefits we give to people who’ve had an entire life to prepare and save.

Well said John 👍 Why would the ordinary man in the street support burning dirty polluting fuel such as oil - when cleaner energy is available ??? Why FGS ??? Is it because the ‘burn baby burn’ advocates have force fed the public with their BS propaganda ? The only people benefiting from ‘burn baby burn’ are those that make a profit out of the oil industry.

‘The winds and sun aren’t affected by the Straits of Hormuz.’ Sustainable Construction and Climate Change Lecturer John Grant dismisses suggestions that the UK should start drilling in the North Sea, arguing renewables are a better solution.

@GBNEWS I wonder if John Grant receives grants from Miliband. Surely no one is set in their ways this much when presented with logical solutions.

@Rory_Johnston The market does not seem convinced that is a fair assumption - oil has failed to even reach its 2008 high, nominal or inflation-adjusted.

If we assume that Hormuz remains closed for the next month, which now seems like a pretty solid bet, the barrels not produced by Gulf states thanks to production shut-ins in **April alone** will be roughly equivalent to the entire largest-in-history 400 MMbbl IEA SPR release

@MarkHeath45 It could matter eventually though. Whilst the price is set globally, we could easily see rationing, sanctions and deals which could disregard prices completely. Barter might take precedent.

I’ve literally had 15-20 people jumping on my timeline saying, we get our oil from Norway, and our oil doesn’t come through Hormuz, so it doesn’t affect us? Not sure if they are serious, or simply that thick, that they have no clue how global markets work

@MrSnakeOil @MarkHeath45 Oil prices are set globally. Whilst we don't get it from Hormuz, others do. Those who used to get it from Hormuz will be forced to buy elsewhere. Price goes up for everyone regardless. Oil price factors into the cost of literally everything. We will pay more for everything.

@MarkHeath45 Can you explain why it does affect us in two sentences? If so, jot it down. Would be helpful to those that don’t follow. Not everyone is blessed equally.

@OlooneyJohn Wwn countries who can't get their oil from the Strait who usually do... Where do they get it from? Someone else. Oil has loyalties to no one. There is a global price paid.
