It's crazy cuz the release of SHADOW MEWTWO aaand the FIRST EVER SHINY SHADOW LEGENDARY in raids is lowkey the biggest thing to happen in pogo in...years???? I mean, this is HUGE. And yet i have 0 plans to raid a single one. And it's funny because if i could invite my friends i absolutely would have set aside a few hours to go out looking for raids! But WITHOUT REMOTES there is no guarantee that after driving for 20+ minutes, there will even be enough people to help me win the raid. If i could have RELIED on my remote friends to ensure I'm not WASTING MY TIME, i would've loved to do some shadow Mewtwo raids... Niantic's decision to eliminate remotes from this experience, DIRECTLY hindered my desire and motivation to GO. How backwards is this? Silph renewed my interest in playing Pokémon GO back in season 1, and I put in so much time and energy to getting better. It lead me to many great people and ultimately to make life-long friends. Really not sure how to process this, it feels like a loss in the family.

I called it years ago. A game that doesn't let you customize your character's hair would eventually have corporate issues of not caring about their player base. Ya'll laughed at me, but it 'represents' the fundamental issues for the current state of the game.

One of the biggest blunders of the recent remote raid update is the failure to have a infrastructure in place for how to raid post-update. Putting the onus on the players to completely form/reform local raid groups out of nowhere shows the lack of thought put into these changes.

I don't know who needs to hear this... But if this Remote Raid update didn't effect you...that doesn't mean it didn't hurt someone else's experience... Players just like YOU have: - Night Shift jobs (they sleep during the day) - Children to raise (Can't do Raid hours) <- Me - No local raid groups - No local Gyms - Can only play at certain odd times of day <- Me All of these made remote raiding accessible to us. You don't need to be a "Whale" or "Content Creator" for this to have a negative impact on your gaming experience. This update will cascade farther that you can imagine and will effect everyone. #HearUsNiantic
