Anyone knows if van der Avoird is injured? Strange to see Verplancke starting on the wing, and last week Voets. Both not really wingers. Netherlands missing depth on the wing.

@RugbyVandaag What potential do you mean? For the REC to become more popular it needs better stories with probably a simple ingredient: Wins. If we can translate potential into winning stories, the REC don't need the six nations. They will need the REC.

As REC fans, think we are talking too much about Six Nations expansion/promotion, and not enough about improving the REC. The REC has great potential, we are just not selling it well enough.

@Toetweb How much I like Wolf, I can understand his ommission. If you play Ereklasse you have to commit to Delta in my opinion. Just playing Ereklasse is not going to get us to the RWC.

This is not true according to RN. 🇳🇱 voted for the extended format. Once that was off the table they proposed 2nd vs 3rd of opposit pool for direct RWC spot which was voted against by pool B teams. Would have been more entertaining and makes more sense from Dutch perspective.
