We have acquired high resolution Airbus satellite imagery from April 10, 2026, of the airfield evidently used by the United States near Esfahan in the rescue of the F-15E weapons systems officer. The airfield is located roughly 40km from the Esfahan Nuclear Complex. Coordinates: 32°13'17.3"N 51°54'02.9"E. The imagery shows evidence of destroyed US aircraft. The right side of the airfield shows debris/ground char from reportedly two destroyed C-130 Hercules aircraft and possibly two MH-6 little bird helicopters. The US reportedly destroyed several of its own aircraft to prevent their capture by Iranian forces after the aircraft became stuck on the ground and could not take off. Since then, Iran has established a makeshift dirt security perimeter around the destroyed aircraft that also serves to block any ground view of the cleanup and salvaging operations underway. Iran has also added piles of dirt across the airfield that would prevent aircraft from being able to land on the airstrip, denying its use in any future operation. This is notable given its relatively close proximity to the Esfahan Nuclear Complex, adding further complications to any potential ground operation to seize the highly enriched uranium believed to be stored in the underground tunnel complex there.
