I can’t quite put my finger on why this ignited such a visceral anger in me. Was it the condescending tone? Was it the cocksure hubris? Was it the dismissive attitude toward more than 100 years of legitimate Albertan grievances? Whatever it was, it has hardened my resolve for Alberta independence.

@JohnLeFevre My daughter is 12 and when we watched TV it was Fraser from the 90's and Sponge Bob from early 2000's and 90's. She never asks me to watch a Movie in a theater. We don't watch TV just for those couple I mentioned. I do miss family TV night from when I was a kid.

My kids are 11 and 12.
I know this from direct experience, and also asking all their friends:
- no interest in movie theaters
- no interest in movies at home
- no interest in TV shows
Hollywood is dead.

I just watched the entire Joe Rogan podcast with Pierre Poilievre.
Not once did he give a reason Alberta should stay in Canada.

Canadians are unhappy all the time because they’re broke.
As a Canadian, my travels to the U.S. have had no issues.
Anyone that says otherwise is lying - they don’t know.
Americans are 100% friendlier, and more tolerant than Canadians right now.
It’s not even close.
