They certainly are far behind on price per job done for the majority of use cases 99% of consumer and business customers have no need for super intelligence If these companies want to win they need to be able to reliably do the pointless busywork that the majority of the population needs it to do at a cost effective price

We are at the point where I don’t care how much smarter a model gets tbh I don’t want more intelligence I want more: 1. execution 2. reliability 3. consistency 4. Persistence 5.6 wins at this And I think most industries feel the same way that I do most of us are pushing paper around or not solving big problems or sequencing DNA trying to progress humanity into an interstellar species I find it refreshing that model companies are now pushing towards cost optimization and execution rather than Superintelligence

After testing it a lot, sorry to say this but GPT 5.6 Sol just isn't on par with Claude Fable. It's still smart, just not as smart as Claude Fable.
