There is probably no bigger crime against humanity than the destruction of the United Kingdom. England in the 90s, where I grew up, was actual paradise. The pub gardens, the white people, oasis with fish and chips. There were full bars and clubs 7 nights a week in every single town let alone city. Always something to do. Even if you were poor, go out with a tenner and have the best time. 10,000 pound night today is 1% of what a 10-pound night was back then. Neighborly people. Safe streets. Even the council estates were safe. You had to live it to understand it. Everything’s been destroyed.

Kudos to Manchester City for freezing ticket prices following consultations with fans. Shows the importance of engaging with fans’ networks like City Matters. Kudos to @BroadstockLee @citymattersreps @WeAre1894. City have listened to fans which not enough clubs do. City are a wealthy club, it’s good PR, but it’s also the right thing to do. Fans bring the noise, the atmosphere, the mood boosts for players. Fans bring the backdrop that TV pays billions for. Clubs should show respect to fans and be measured in ticketing policies, especially given economic pressures on fans. City say they have “taken the approach in recognition of the extraordinary accumulated impact of the current cost of living pressures on fans and their families”. Still issues like those loyal fans being moved to accommodate corporates (club currently emailing fans of details). But, overall, City deserve praise. The introduction of 4,000 “Flexi-Season Tickets”, with 50% ringfenced for juniors, should definitely be welcomed. They are the future. Simplifying the ticket transfer policy makes sense and is fairer. “Fans will be able to list up to 18 friends and family, regardless of membership status, and can do this at any point throughout the season if they are unable to attend a match”. Makes it easier to hit the 10 mandatory games. Fans’ group 1894 “welcomes today's announcement from the club which is in direct contrast to other clubs in the Premier League who have been raising their match ticket and season ticket prices. I’m not aligning with or defending anyone here. What matters to me is Cardano and the Cardano community. When we disrespect one another, we only harm the ecosystem and weaken the healthy discussions needed for progress. Different opinions, concerns, and arguments should absolutely always be brought to the table, that’s an essential part of successful governance. But we are all adults, and we should be able to disagree while still treating each other with respect. Being disrespectful to one another brings nothing positive to Cardano. Many people are watching.

Drama is the inevitable side effect of a big, active, and vibrant ecosystem. Differences, misunderstandings, and conflicts may happen, but it's important to be respectful, learn, forgive, and move forward. We’re still hoping for the same thing. Together we are stronger. 💪

You know, if @IOHK_Charles and the entities @Cardano_CF, @emurgo_io and @IOGroup actually did something to help the ecosystem prosper, and actually needed to reach goals (i.e, price targets, listings, milestones) before being allowed to drain more Catalyst Funds… (like CEOs/management do, for example, prior to being rewarded warrants or stock options)… We wouldn’t be in this situation. And don’t tell me “all coins are down”, because that’s BS. ADA has had the most underwhelming price action as compared to MANY other coins. The charts prove it. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.
