@KiddCocaCola @FOX17 it may be trying to add michigans 6% sales tax to get to the 40 odd cents which is fine although will fluctuate depending on the price per gallon. we still pay a lot i agree.

@VariableHelix @FOX17 Yes, but you are forgetting the added fed tax rate which is 18.4¢. 31¢ + 18.4¢ combined we pay 49.4¢ per gallon.

@KiddCocaCola @FOX17 yep but that is the whole country the chart your showing is supposed to be just the state taxes. hence the bottom states on that list showing lower than the federal. Also at the top if you read what you put up also talks about that.
