The question needs to be asked. Watching the Australian Open and it's full of bad-taste advertising from one university that asks students from other universities if they'd prefer their online learning. Is it just me or is this bad taste, and has the sector really come to this?

@mojohealy @JoSouthern5 It is a pretty aggressive and poor taste approach lacking collegiality. Indirectly (arguably directly) bashing your sector or industry partners is weak knee’d in my opinion. I wonder if colleagues agree?

@JoSouthern5 The point is online learning and teaching is a complex exchange and requires relationship building and a host of engagement and support strategies. One shiny landing page or the latest toy isn’t going to cut it.
