#MartinWeissLibrary started the first week of Hispanic Heritage month off by collaborating with our amazing PE coach (Coach Kai). Scholars learned about papel picado, took a quiz on #Quizizz, & created/designed their own papel picado. @DISD_Libraries @DISDLibrarian @dallasschools

We’ve got 63 schools without power, and our office at 9400 has been hit hard. We’ve got folks dealing with broken windows, flooding, and fallen trees. While they do their work, I’m asking non-essential team members to stay safe and work from home.

All Dallas ISD activities, events, camps, and athletics are cancelled today, May 28. Phones are currently down and we are working to restore them as quickly as possible. Stay tuned to our channels for updates regarding Wednesday.
