NEWS: Tesla Japan has announced that it plans to expand to at least 60 stores (up from 35 now) as it seeks to become the country's biggest imported car brand by as early as 2027.
"Expanded store and service center coverage and investment in training over the past two years have helped drive Tesla's sales growth in Japan", said country manager Richi Hashimoto.
"We want to aim to become the number one imported car brand, possibly as early as next year," Hashimoto said at their Model Y L launch event in Japan.
Tesla sold just over 10,000 vehicles in the country last year and began taking orders on Friday in Japan for the Model Y L.

It’s a unique and fascinating experience for sure. Relatively soft shooting and buttery action. It is also very accurate (at least mine is up to ~600 yards). Loading new rounds in this beauty always amuses me and the history just makes it that much cooler. Wait until our Japanese friends find out about reloading ammunition - I think their brains will explode 😂

teslafsdtracker.com has been updated to display v14 as the default version for HW4. It's still early, but ~25% of testers on the tracker with HW4 now have v14 & it will likely expand with it supposed to be going out to cybertruck soon.
I also made some updates to the calculations for data from @Matt3rai to improve estimates for city vs hwy mileage & DE using speeds available in the data.
