To really understand MDP, you have to be deep within it. One can be “independent,” but the system itself pushes people into perceived factions. It’s inevitable in MDP. And let’s be honest, are other candidates contesting for this post truly independent? Not really. What actually matters is the ability to work across differences, engage all sides, and bring everyone together to work towards a common goal.

“New generation” shouldn’t mean lowering standards. You may represent youth, but leadership is tested by resilience, consistency, and the ability to stand firm under pressure MDP doesn’t just need “new”; it needs strong, credible leadership that won’t be easily compromised

Youth are the leaders of TODAY! Experience doesn’t appear in a vacuum it’s built when capable people are given space, not when positions are locked by the status quo. And for the record, Mickail isn’t applying for a fresh graduate job. He has the experience, the caliber, and the aptitude to engage and negotiate with all leaders in the Maldives. He comes without excess baggage and with the energy and clarity MDP needs. If MDP wants to win 2028, this is exactly the kind of leadership it should be backing.

Though youth should be leaders of tomorrow, it is not automatically so all the time. MDP needs proven results and unity of an experienced leaders like @MohamedNasheed and @faya_i not just 'new generation' shit slogans. Experience still matters far more this time. @HKurusee
