3 takeaways from the game, presented by @dotvegasinc 1) Honestly didn’t mind that game at all for VGK. The first three games the Ducks may have earned more of the puck luck than they got. Tonight, it kind of all caught up. It wasn’t quite as “wrong team won” as Game 1, but I do think it happened again. Ok, it’s even now. 2) The depth of the roster just gets damaged so badly when Stone is out. Marner and Karlsson were excellent all night, but there wasn’t enough help around them. It won’t make as much of a difference as many are saying, but Reilly Smith needs to go into Game 5. 3) Could be massive that Tomas Hertl got that goal to finally feel like he has the monkey off his back. Even more so with Stone out, Hertl has to be impactful and make a difference on the PP and 6-on-5. It’s not a luxury that may reappear anymore, it’s a necessity. The only TRUE Las Vegas web address! Possibly the biggest concern for me from game four is the fact that Hanifin and Andersson were on the ice for all four of Anaheim's goals.

Hard to make sense of Saad over Smith. Smith has points in 69% of his postseason games vs 51% for Saad. 16 goals in 69 games for Smith vs 3 goals in 49 games for Saad. Saad was -7 vs Smith's -9. Feels like more of a hunch play as Torts has history with Saad.

@TDChrisG I can only make sense to it as, Torts and Saad must have some sort of established connection from the 2015-17 seasons on the Columbus Blue Jackets. He's showing inconsistencies already in decision making. Karlsson being one of them, already in game 1 and 2 vs ANA and the past.
